What to expect? Fine Craftsman Lumber’s Hard Maple

Customers rave about our unique ability to provide white hard maple. Our hard maple is grown in the most desirable northern hardwood regions of Wisconsin and Michigan and dried free from stick marks and a brown tint referred to as caramelization.

Hard maple is best used in cabinets, furniture, flooring, door, architectural moulding and millwork projects.

We offer two grade options for hard maple. The first is clear one face and the second is select & better. Depending on where the logs come from, you’ll find some boards have awesome, clear face on both sides, while others have a few knots and character, which is the product of the grade select & better.
